    NOTES
The LPGA Tour will play its second straight event in Asia this week with the HSBC Women`s Champions. Jiyai Shin kicked off a three-win 2009 season with a two-shot victory over Katherine Hull last year. Shin was one-over par after two rounds, but went 66-66 on the weekend to roar from behind for the win. Hull, the third-round leader, was in control of the event until tallying a double-bogey and two bogeys on her back nine to fall out of the lead. The late struggles cost Hull her second tour title. This will be just the third playing of this event. The limited field is comprised of the top 20 from the Rolex Women`s World Rankings as of December 31st, 2009 winners on the LPGA Tour, two sponsor invites, one qualifier and the remainder of the field consists of leading players on the 2009 LPGA Tour money list not otherwise qualified. Golf Channel will have tape-delayed coverage of all four rounds. After a three-week break, the LPGA Tour will return to action in California with the Kia Classic Presented by J Golf, where Karrie Webb won last year.
