At GL, we have always believed in the potential of the esports industry and the opportunities it offers to all those willing to take that leap.

Few brands have shared our belief from the start, and Red Bull has always been at the forefront of them. 

With Red Bull, and for 10 years, we have worked to develop and transform the esports scene in MENA; whether it be esports titles and tournaments, gaming events, marketing campaigns, or content creation and moderation, we have done it all. 

Together, we have built unforgettable experiences and unique adventures, and as such, our gift to Red Bull to celebrate this milestone had to be on the same, if not a higher, level. 

For a day, our team at GL took over the Arena in Red Bull’s office building, replacing the regular break area tables and chairs with arcades, PlayStations, and gaming mobile phones. 

The Red Bull team joined us to enjoy this custom-made gaming space, where they got to compete and win various prizes. 

This celebratory day also featured a gift we had created and built specifically for this occasion: a gaming arcade shaped like a Red Bull can and featuring many games ranging from nostalgic to modern. 

More than just a retro and nostalgic machine, this Arcade symbolizes community, competition, connection, and the passion we and Red Bull share for all things gaming and esports; as such, we saw it as the perfect tribute to honor the milestones we’ve accomplished so far and to look forward to the future. 

More than just work, our partnership with Red Bull is a journey shaped by passion, courage, creativity, and a love for all things gaming and esports. For 10 years, we have worked hand in hand to bring the gaming and esports community together and to build unforgettable moments.

Esports Tournaments that Shaped the Scene 

Over the years, we have worked with Red Bull on some of the most popular and impactful esports competitions in the MENA region. 

One of our first collaborations entailed the creation of an esports title from scratch; Red Bull ProSeed is an esports tournament created with the objective of empowering esports players and giving them the full professional esports experience, thus preparing them to compete on regional and global levels. 

From naming and branding to full-scale online and offline production, we handled all the details behind this original tournament. 

Spanning four seasons, including a major offline finals in 2023, Red Bull ProSeed has become one of the most popular and anticipated tournaments in MENA. 

We have also worked with Red Bull on the National Qualifiers for their Valorant tournament, Red Bull Campus Clutch, which is built for university students all over the world. 

The National Qualifiers of Red Bull Campus Clutch have witnessed the rise of many Egyptian teams that have reached the global tournaments held in different countries. 

For two thrilling seasons of Red Bull Campus Clutch National Qualifiers, we have handled tournament management and organization, live broadcast management and production, and content creation across multiple online and offline platforms. 

Additionally, one of the finals was held in an offline event like no other, providing a unique esports experience in MENA for all stakeholders, whether they be sponsors, esports talents, players and teams, and the audience. 

Moreover, our partnership with Red Bull has witnessed five astounding seasons of Red Bull M.E.O., the tournament created for mobile gamers everywhere. 

Our journey with this tournament goes back to 2019, when Esports Summit, our flagship annual event, hosted the national qualifiers of the year. 

From online qualifiers to regional offline finals, we’ve managed to take this tournament to new heights in execution, production, live broadcasts, and tournament management and organization. 

 

Regional Energy with Global Standards  

Our partnership with Red Bull targeted not only PC and Mobile gamers, but also extended to all console players. 

Bringing the localized versions of two of their global tournaments: Red Bull Hattrick in EA Sports FC and Red Bull Kumite in fighting games. 

Featuring a twist in the popular EA Sports FC game, Red Bull Hattrick brought football fans and enthusiasts together for two amazing seasons, both ending with offline finals like no other. 

As for Red Bull Kumite (localized to Red Bull 3arka), we are happy to have worked on three editions of it so far; one of which was held in a themed event in a historic venue in the heart of Cairo, and the other two in consecutive editions of the action-packed and highly anticipated EGYCON event. 

 

Taking Gaming Events to a Bold Level  

True to their word to always support the underdogs and rising stars, we worked with Red Bull to create and produce events, competitions, and shows, aiming to support and empower gamers, esports players, and gaming and non-gaming influencers and content creators. 

Red Bull Login was a standout event catering to all types of gamers and providing a multiverse of gaming platforms; whether it be PC, Console, Mobile, Arcade, or Racing Sims, we had them all under one roof. 

The event also featured a unique competition where gamers competed on all platforms to get score points to rise to the top of the leaderboard; the same real-life leaderboard that was connected to our custom-developed Event Xperience App that facilitates event management and logistics, and elevates the players’ experience. 

So, for two days, gamers gathered in one place to compete, ending with one player being crowned as the Ultimate Gamer. 

As for the influencers and content creators, we worked with Red Bull on two notable projects:

 – Red Bull Vault: A live streaming show that we proudly created from scratch, featuring gaming and non-gaming influencers and content creators           competing to accomplish as many challenges as possible in various games.

   Going strong for four seasons, Red Bull Vault has evolved to include new creators, new competitive formats, and new games and challenges. 

 – Red Bull Xstreamer: A tournament in PUBG Mobile designed for content creators who competed in live streams doing mission-based challenges to       win. This competition ended with a thrilling 1v1 finale and grand prize.

 

Esports Recognition on Regional Levels   

Our partnership with Red Bull spans across the entire region, where we are proud and honored to have partnered up with them on the below:

 – Red Bull SoloQ: where we managed five seasons of the Egyptian editions of this unique competition, many of which culminated in offline finals             delivering unparalleled experiences.

    We are also happy to have worked on the Kuwaiti edition of Red Bull SoloQ, which was sponsored by Talabat and Crocs, among others, and where      we handled tournament management, organization, promotion, and broadcast management and production. 

 – Red Bull All 4 One: a League of Legends competition with a creative twist featuring teams of four competing to win. We worked with Red Bull Oman     to bring this tournament to life, handling everything from tournament and broadcast management to social media content creation. 

The Next 10 Years Start Now   

For 10 years, we at GL have worked with Red Bull to develop and empower the esports and gaming scene. 

We are extremely proud of every game, event, broadcast, and campaign we’ve worked on together with the objective of always creating unique and unparalleled experiences, and always being ahead of the game.
